Moller for GarCO Clerk
Defending the Process for All
I have called the Roaring Fork Valley home since 2001, moving to Carbondale in 2007. From starting out working on the lift lines at Fanny Hill, I moved briefly into real estate and then became the Natural Resources Specialist for Pitkin County. For the last 17 years, I have worked in the legal field, ten years with a water law firm and then seven years ago I founded a successful paralegal firm providing legal services for attorneys in the valley.
In 2019 I completed a 40-hour mediator training certification and have been volunteering at the Garfield and Eagle County small claims and county courts and with OvalOptions on the Front Range since that time. In addition, I did volunteer paralegal work for Alpine Legal Services. I was a 13-year commissioner and spent six-years as the chair of the Carbondale Parks and Recreation Commission and am a founding member of the Carbondale Dog Park Friends initiative.
I completed my MBA in 2021, and look forward to using my legal, mediation, leadership, and MBA skills as your Garfield County Clerk.
Why County Clerk?
I am running for County Clerk because I want to be proactive with the future needs of Garfield County and the clerk's office. From long term viability to adapting to workforce evolution, I want to make sure there is a person in the clerk's office that is prepared to stand for our community and who is willing to step up and do the right thing for our residents. Openness and transparency are a necessary part of a fair and effective government office and something that will guide my service.
As County Clerk, my experiences working and volunteering within our community, with small business leadership and mediation services, I believe I can move the office in a direction that not only meets the needs of the future but also builds upon the trust and effectiveness of the office.
